Hi! I'm an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Information and the Center for the Study of Complex Systems at the University of Michigan. My day job is managing the Product Science group within Facebook's Data Science Team. I have a PhD in Applied Physics ("very applied" physics) from Stanford, where I conducted some of the first studies of online social networks. Prior to joining Facebook (when I first started teaching this course), I was an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan.
