So welcome to creative coding for designers using Python. This is the third and more advanced course in this three course series called Programming for Designers. So before we actually jump into the course, let's do a little recap of what we have covered in course one and two, because we want to make sure that you have either covered those courses or, you know, the kind of content that we've covered so far. So in the first course, Python Fundamental for Designers, we understood basically the foundations of syntax, variables, functions, but also geometry. How do we draw things to a canvas within the processing environment? We're using processing as our framework for creating our learning environment for designing. Then we moved to data structure for designers, which is the second course, and we really started diving into data structures such as lists, dictionaries. But also, how do we kind of spatialize some of that content in terms of grid structures? Also, how do we use vectors and vector math? That was quite important. And finally, we introduced the notion of object oriented programming. How do we write objects in Python? How do we start making those objects interact with each other and creating simulations? So with that knowledge considered, if you perhaps don't feel completely solid and robust on that knowledge, go back to those courses before we actually jump into this third course, where we're going to be taking a little bit more of a project based approach to design and really kind of using the tools that we've learned so far. So with that in mind, I look forward to seeing you in class.
