Images:
In designing this course we have used a number of images to help us explain concepts and enhance the course materials. Most of these were images created by the course team, any other photography or additional images have been gratefully re-purposed from Creative Commons sources.
Musical scores:
We have made explicit reference to a number of musical compositions, and where all or part of a score has been provided, this has been created by us. The creation of scores has been possible because the compositions are now in the Public Domain.
Course content:
Except where otherwise stated, all content of this course from the University of Edinburgh is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.
This means you are free to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work as long as you: attribute the authors of the work, do not use the work for commercial purposes, and do not adapt or remix the work. In addition to the University of Edinburgh content, you will see a variety of third-party resources, some of which are available under a variety of Creative Commons licences. You are free to use these too, just make sure you follow the rules of the licence corresponding to the particular resource that you want to use. Details of re-purposed content sources and licenses are given above. We would very much like to thank all of the individuals and organisations whose Creative Commons resources are included, or have been adapted, as part of this course.
