Week 3 Help Center
This week we move from state-space search methods to searching in "plan-space" where search space nodes are partial plans. We cover Simple Task Network (STN) planning and begin to address Hierarchical Task Network (HTN) planning, a technique used in most practical planners today.

Awareness Level
For those wanting to follow the Awareness Level of the course you should watch the nominated video lectures marked with ♦ this week, plus the "feature " video. You can watch them at any time during the whole course, and need not view them all at once this week. Optionally watch other videos that may interest you.
Awareness level students should complete the Mid Course Awareness Level Quiz to let them check they have met the requirements up to this point, and to practice the simple final awarness level exam that will be given in week 5.
Foundation Level
Foundation Level represents the core taught material on this course and requires an understanding of the material for a pass. Students expecting to complete at the Foundation and Performance levels should complete the Mid Course Foundation Level Quiz to let them check they have met the requirements up to this point, and to practice the final foundation level exam that will be given in week 5.
Performance Level
The course optionally provides programming, practical and creative assignments which can build up to count towards the Performance Level award. The first programming assignment and the creative challenge remain open:
