* A(wareness), F(oundation) or P(erformance) indicates the exams or assignments that are necessary for the level you are seeking to achieve. The Homework and Mid Course Quizzes are optional and are to assist you in your studies.
** After grading is complete, Coursera staff perform some checks before Statement of Accomplishment are issued, and this may take up to a week.
The quizzes and exams are not timed, you can take as long as you need on them. 10 attempts are allowed for each. Your maximum score will count on all the assignments and exams, not necessarily the latest attempt you make.
Levels of Engagement on the Course
Go to Course Information for full details of the "Levels of Engagement", "Assessments and Completion" and "Levels, Grades and Scores". You can aim for three different levels of achievement on the course:
- Awareness Level
- Foundation Level
- Performance Level
To obtain the respective Statement of Accomplishment on the course you have to complete the compulsory elements and get enough marks. For each level there are also optional components that you do not have to complete, although we strongly recommend it. These optional components do not count for your final marks.
