This course is in python 3.5.

2. How do I download and install the Jupyter Notebook system for offline use?

To install the Jupyter Notebook system on your own machine, we recommend downloading Anaconda . This will allow you to work on any personal data science projects outside of the Coursera Jupyter Notebooks. Anaconda is a distribution containing Python, the Conda package and environment manager, and many software packages for data science. We recommend installing the Python 3 version, as that is the version we will be using in this course. Once Anaconda is downloaded, you can access the Jupyter Notebooks through the Anaconda Navigator. For more information on downloading Anaconda, visit the Install Documentation .

3. How do I download notebooks and data files?

To download the notebook files manually from within the Coursera Jupyter platform, navigate to the file directory by selecting File > Open...

5. How do I reset my notebook?

To clear all the output and saved variables from the notebook, select Kernel > Restart & Clear Output .

(Note: The following explains how to replace your notebook with a fresh new version. Because the files are overwritten with the new versions, you will lose any of your work! Be sure to download your notebooks if you want to keep the content!)

If you wish to replace a notebook with a fresh new version, delete the notebook in the directory, then select Control Panel in the top right corner.
